In the 1st semester of year 2, we utilised the skills taught in year 1 to create content proposals as a team for local clothing brands, where my team and I chose RYE.

RYE is an independent women's wear, known for their approach on tackling fast fashion, which is through high-quality, timeless pieces.

My roles for this project were being the stylist, hair and make-up (HMU) artist. It is important that I thoroughly understand the brand's DNA, as it holds great significance in how my team and I were sourcing the clothing items for our models, and how the styling and HMU would be done to best assimilate with RYE's existing identity.

When choosing the role of being the stylist and HMU artist, I was initially hesitant about whether I made the right decision, as it is one of my weaker skills. But during this project, with the help of my teammates, I gained more confidence as a stylist, and also in communicating my ideas with my team, allowing us to collaborate more effectively and produce a more cohesive and well-executed campaign.
