In the 1st semester of year 1, we learnt the basics of photography, styling, trend prediction and various Adobe cloud apps (After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator). We tied all these skills learned in our project to create a digital e-publication on Men's Spring Summer 2024 trends, where I chose monochromatic and elevated basics.

Since this was an individual project, my roles included creative director, photographer, stylist, graphic designer, and creative writer. Overall, this project pushed me, as an introvert, to step out of my comfort zone and direct my model confidently. It has also allowed me to put into practice the skills I have learnt, visuals and messaging with clear marketing goals, while keeping the targeted audiences in mind.

This project was an eye-opening experience, as publications were not something I gave much thought to initially. But experiencing the process gave me more insight into how the industry works and the importance of publications.
